There are no words to express my gratitude to Dr Naba J Borah Sir. To me, he is nothing less than God in human form because he gave me a second chance at life.
After a brutal accident, my L1 spine was severely damaged, and I completely lost the ability to move my body. I couldn't even turn in bed on my own, and my future seemed hopeless. But with Dr Naba J Borah Sir's exceptional surgical skills, dedication, and compassionate care, i gradually recovered. Today, I am able to walk again and live my life like a normal person something I once thought would never be possible.

He has remained an amicable and intelligent, communicative and super approachable doctor as per my first interaction up till now.
He operated my surgery in 2025 (Endoscopic Pituitary Tumor Excision) and I am really glad I chose Dr Naba as my Neurosurgeon.
Fast forward to one of my experiences in 2026 - A doctor from my hometown while performing my endoscopy (post-surgery) remarked that my surgery had been done so well and asked me which doctor was it

"I cannot thank Dr. NJ Borah sir enough for the incredible care he had provided to my father. Seeing so many five-star ratings gave me confidence that my mom’s consultation for her severe back pain would be in good hands. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the exact opposite.
The doctor seemed far more engaged with phone calls than with the patient sitting right in front of him. He was multitasking throughout the consultation — attending calls while barely interacting with my mom. There was no real effort to understand her history, no meaningful questions about how or when the pain started, nothing. Just a casual suggestion to get an MRI/X-ray and that was it.
We didn’t expect miracles — just some professionalism and basic courtesy. Utterly disappointing experience.
Remember- A white coat without humility is just an attire. Go and preserve your ego elsewhere.

I have done my Spine surgery in 25/08/2025 under Borah sir .. really he treat with patient like a friend and his behaviour is owsomm ... And now I am totally ok pain has gone .best Neurosurgeon in Northeast . And as a patient i know that what type of pain people suffering back pain, neck pain, slip disc please visit Borah sir . He also expert in brain and heart disease ❤️

Sir did surgery for my mother for severe back pain as it was beyond the work for any medicine. We came to know about Dr Borah from a family friend. This operation was done 5 months back. We are afraid that due to age complications and paralysis may happen. But must say Dr Sir do through investigation and full preparation before surgery. Now my mother is recovering and have resume normal day to day activities. No question his behaviour and attitude toward patients is top notch. One gem of a gentleman doctor in Assam.

All doctors are good, but Dr Borah sir is world class. My father had serious stroke and we thought it's over. In fact many doctors did the initial investigations and gave us 6 months max. Everyone said its a critical case.. We discovered Borah sir.. He also explained the same but his approach is very good and he took time to understand the case fully. Others are also good.. but Bora sir went above and beyond. Finally we got the confidence and the surgery was done.. It was a 10 hour surgery.. All is good.. Our Rahman Family will always be in debt of Borah Sir

My grandfather was treated for neck herniated disc. Dr Borah did cervical discectomy after carefull evaluating the situation. Dr Borah made him much more better.

Positive words and attitude with soothing smile always bring about wonder in the recovery of patients. I had sub-arachnoid hemorrhage for which I was under the treatment of Dr. Borah. Not only I found him as an excellent doctor also as an excellent human being. His welcoming approach to his patients make everything different. We are extremely grateful towards Dr. N J Borah, the best Neurosurgeon who had successfully operated on the tumour in my sister's pituitary gland. Moreover, we had received the best care from the doctors as well as hospital staffs during our stay at the hospital. They are always ready to help and answer each of our queries patiently. The cost is quite reasonable too. A must visit if you are in need of this kind of medical care.

To me Dr Naba J Baura is the best doctor I've experienced. My daughter had pituitary tumor since childhood and was not detected since no symptoms was observed. Right from the first day I took her to GNRC for second opinion since she got black out frequently when she reached class 10 I'm very happy to meet him and having faith in his treatment I continued her treatment with him. He never do anything hastily but with proper investigations first. My daughter's tumor already had haemorrhage but luckily it was detected very fast and operation was successfully done on 9th March 2023.She's doing well now and I would say that Dr Naba was the best. He's also very approachable and very clear with his ways in treating his patients. I've recommended many who have any neurological problem to him. They were all happy with him.
